Do you think more American sports will go to Europe?
I know the NFL and nba come but on UK tv they was talking about giving Ireland and Germany an NFL game! Surely this is all too much, firstly we don't want to be sent the Brown's like last year, and this year sending us the Raiders because they have nowhere else to go. I think this has to stop the logistics for American teams is getting crazy. Giving London and NFL team will also never work. I have already picked an NFL team and won't change just because London has one. Neither will most other people. I wanted to know what Americans think about this. You can't be happy with losing so many games right?

I certainly hope not. And you're right, nothing against Europe, but most fans aren't happy about their team traveling overseas to play a game. Not to mention, NFL games played in London are on tv here on the east coast at 9:30 in the morning, 6:30 in the morning on the west coast, too early in the day for football. Personally, I've been an NFL fan for 50 years but I have yet to watch a game played in London.

A game can be in London or Germany or California or Texas. I'm watching on TV. I'm not losing anything.

There is NO chance, for any number of reasons, that the NFL will have a team in Europe.

The NFL plays games there to game fans, hope that they can have a consistent TV contract there, and to sell more merchandise. It is unlikely, at best, that any team would exist in Europe. As long as stadiums are being filled and money is being made it will continue. In general, the teams that lose a home game b/c of this struggle to sell out anyway so losing one game isn't that big of a deal to most of the fans.
