Can i cook chicken in en electrical kettle?

The chicken is already fully cooked, it s those Tyson ones that you buy in the frozen section. I took the chicken out and its not longer frozen...just cold. Would I break my kettle if I turned it on without any water in it?

    No.

The heating element in the kettle isn't intended for cooking. In fact you'll probably damage the kettle long before the chicken is anywhere near fully cooked.

Yeah, sure, you could put the chicken in there with some water, but then you're basically making chicken-flavored water, and rubbery boiled chicken. Bleah, to both.

Not with any satisfaction. You really need to get it to 165° F to be safe. The best option is in a thrift store toaster oven. Second best is a couple of minutes in a microwave, but it will effect the texture of the food. You could, of course, put it in a skillet with a little oil and bring it up to temperature.

I would not do it that way.

The heating element is not large and it is uneven. The opening on most of the kettles is pretty small making it difficult to turn the chicken pieces.

How about a frying pan or other pan on the stove top. Or a pan or aluminum foil in the oven.

Microwave would be better than the water kettle.

And if it fully cooked you could eat it cold, make a salad, toss the chicken on top add some nuts, dried cranberries and a little dressing.

You can heat it in a dry crock pot if you have one, but it's gonna take an hour or two. But no, not in a kettle. A toaster oven as King says is good too. But no microwave, or it will come out wet and rubbery.
