Emergency Essentials, out of Utah no longer has (#10?) cans of pet food for both cats & dog. Anyone know why?

Just because it has a picture of both a cat and dog does not mean it is meant for both species. The only canned foods I've ever seen labeled for dogs and cats weren't complete and balanced, they were only meant to be added as a topper or treat, and said right on the cans that they were intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only, not meant to be fed alone as the main diet. You might want to double check those cans if you find them again and make sure that you aren't feeding an unbalanced food. I looked online and cannot find anything about this food.

A cat and dog have different dietary needs, they should not be eating the same food.
