Can i send a ciggarete lighter from US to UK in the mail?

Stupid question I know but it's my uncle's birthday and I found a very hilarious lighter that he specifically would love

    Check with your mail carrier as to how it must be documented.

    It must be empty, but people sell lighters on eBay and ship them all the time.

    Yes, just as long as you send it through an international mail carrier.
