Why do I get painfully sore after running?

Like it's not hours after I run, it's immediately after I slow down on the treadmill. My legs get tight as hell and then it gets painfully sore. I just started to run like a week and a half ago but it started getting like that when I jogged nonstop for only a mile

Running on a treadmill might be the answer. Since it is such a flat surface it can cause a lot of the problems you are experiencing. I would recommend running outside or on a track. It also might be the shoes you are wearing. I know if my shoes are old I will feel tight when I run.
