I think even some MRE's have instant coffee in them. You won't like it but it's better than nothing.

Yes. But get a shock in basic training. They used to make coffee in 10 gallon urns by throwing a bag of coffee into the hot water. We had to scoop out coffee without disturbing the grounds.
