I didn't cut off the sprouts before I baked a potato?

I can't see the sprouts now.I thought they would be easier to cut off after I baked it. Is it unsafe to eat?

Long potato germs are poisonous and the poison is already in the tuber and you should do away with it.

as long as they are small, the potato should be freed from them..before they are cooked or roasted..and green potatoes also contain poison ..

Sure, they're just a natural part of the potato. They snap right off before the potato is cooked.

Cut them off before you eat the potato. It will be fine to eat.

they weren't much for sprouts if you cannot see them.

I sure wouldn't worry about it.
