In the USA, police and firefighters are free to access and receive help from (all paid through taxes). So why isn't health care?

We are a country that is insanely wealthy and a society that generally cares for the well being of others, so why not?

Medicare For All would provide health insurance for EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN, no exceptions! 100% of the population. We would NEVER pay out of pocket costs again and it would save people thousands of dollars for medical treatment. It would lift low income households out of poverty and allow them equal access to the quality health care they deserve as Americans. I support a Medicare For All system like Bernie Sanders suggests because in the richest country on earth I believe every person here should have equal access to high quality health care at any time. That's real freedom.
