Why are conservative speakers so much more dangerous? E.g., banned from schools, made to spend $100K's on security, moved to smaller venues?

Conservative speakers are regularly banned from college campuses and disinvited from events because of the threats of violence that accompany their seminars. When they are allowed on campuses they are often moved to much smaller venues and non-students are forbidden from attending due to security threats. Many times university officials discover last-minute security concerns that cause such speakers or student organizations inviting them to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on extra security. Yet, you never hear of any of these issues with speakers and events that are progressive or on the left.

Are conservative speakers just more dangerous and violent than progressive, left-leaning speakers? Or is it their intended audience...gun-happy, racist, angry, violent conservatives who are likely to attack or kill anyone who disagrees with them in their safe space? What gives?

Update:

This is a question for the Politics section. Are you Level 7 snowflakes going to get me banned for calling you out for moving my questions around again when I am clearly stating the category under which it should be filed?

Liberals do not believe in free speech, and are only forced by arms even now to tolerate it. They all need to understand what refreshing the tree of Liberty means.

I wasn't aware that they were made to spend $100k on personal security, or moved to smaller venues. I've seen them talking to thousands of supporters at one time. If they think they need security, that's their problem.

You can pick out individual schools that don't want to hear from conservative speakers, but you can do just as much picking to find schools that DO want conservative speakers. Don't be unfair.

because of the violent liberals who run the schools.

this is why the public universities keep getting sued for violating 1st amendment rights.

Free Speech is not, it seems, something that Liberal Colleges and Universities support

You ask a good question. In the 1960s it was the left wing speakers who were not wanted, but the 'free speech movement' began in California so that everyone had their chance to speak in public. But universities are now so progressive-oriented that allowing conservatives to speak is heresy. The left does not want to hear the right because they really have no come backs for what the right says. Just listen to Charlie Kirk. The left which started 'free speech' movement, killed it and now wants 'safe spaces' where no one can argue with them.

the brainwashed kids at college are why. can't tolerate different opinions? should be grounds for expulsion until they grow up, imho

It is an attempt on the part of the left, and a largely successful one, to silence free speech, to silence opposing views. The danger is not the speakers, the danger is the violent leftists who threaten the speakers.

Staff and administrators of universities and colleges are overwhelmingly leftist and are turning out an increasingly-brainwashed product.

Neither. Colleges are the location where you are most likely to encounter groups of SJWs, who have enough knowledge to have formed an opinion (often a liberal opinion, due to their age) and enough idealism to believe that being right justifies militancy.

The LEFT loves to be VIOLENT to shut up conservative speech.
