What do you think of the new Starwars film?

It's worth watching on DVD.

While it has bits of brilliance mixed in, overall it'll leave you quite confused - not because the story is confusing, but because the decisions that went into making the movie.

At just over 3 hours long, this is the longest Star Wars movie ever, yet you could have easily cut out an hour - you'll know it when you watch the movie - and it would have made the movie better. More compact. More coherent.

We already know that Star Wars has never played nice with real-world physics, but this movie does some things that *really* step out of bounds, even for a Star Wars movie!

And unfortunately these elements end up continually distracting you throughout the movie.

I liked it. I thought it was pretty good.

I enjoyed it. I felt it was a bit long, but can't name any specific plot or scene that could have been cut to improve it.

It was pretty good. A lot of the butthurt fanboys didn't like it because it took some things in new directions but these same people were also complaining about how The Force Awakens was just a re-telling of A New How. It's just a Star Wars movie...it's supposed to be a fun, mindless, space adventure. Don't think too much about it.

Haven't seen it.
