How are various van Demeter equations derived?
Firstly I learned 1) H=A +B/u + Cu
Then I learned that there’s a simplified version 2) H=(A+B)/(u+Cu)
And for capillary column, after cancelling the A, somehow this is obtained: 3) H=B/u +Cu
Can anyone enlighten me how these are derived?
