Disney World fans, how do you feel about their plans to start charging for overnight parking at their hotels for the first time ever?

Many hotels already do that. It is nothing new. You don’t need a car once there , so you do have options.

I'm with MS - wouldn't be surprised if they soon start charging for the DME.

I think it is more about discouraging guests (ones that fly to Orlando) from renting cars. That way they would be less likely to leave Disney property during their vacation.

I think it's disappointing. That was one of the perks to staying onsite, and was something that helped minimize the difference in pricing between the onsite and offsite hotels. We normally don't have a car when we visit Disney, so it's not something that will affect us. But I still find it a disappointing change.

I hear they are considering a fee to breathe “Disney™️Air” next.
