When calculating the calories of ramen, do you usually include the broth? Or just the noodles itself?

I buy Ramen just for the noodles. I include them in homemade soup and throw out the flavor packets.

I would include the broth, flavor packet contents and all because that is what I eat.

  • If you are eating the broth, you include the broth. If you are just cooking in it and draining it out, don't include it.

  • There is little to no calories in the broth. The broth has the majority of the sodium, though, but no tall. The noodles have the calories and fat,

I'm sure the calorie count on the package includes the broth. It's mostly salt and flavor ingredients anyway.

Both, im pretty sure the noodles barely make up for the calories.
