Kalin or Calvin?

The surname is Auclair.

I really liked Kalin in English but in French it sounds weird and it sounds like you’re saying “hug” which is “câlin”.

So then Calvin came to mind, which sounds better in English but I still prefer Kalin in English.

Both languages have to be considered, but English is the main one.

I like both with Auclair I think Kalin Auclair flows better. I'd spell it Calin, though.

Kalin to me has the better flow and I personally do prefer this over Calvin. Hope this is of some help.

I think Kalin sounds nicer but I'm not keen on the spelling. Callin (or Callan, slightly different but a name I really like) would be lovely.

    Calvin.

Kalin sounds like of tacky, like a 'Teen Mom' name.

What is Kalin? "Kay lin?" "kal in?"

Have Calvin because Kalin is awful.

Calvin Kalin and then depending if you are in France or England you can use the most suitable name.
