I read this book once about a girl named Charity (I'm 99% sure that was her name). I remember she did watercolour paintings for children's books in the story, and the book described her nursery when she was a baby. I believe she was an only child and was around adults a lot as a kid. 

Anyway, the closest thing I've found to it is Charity by Lesley Pearse. The book description doesn't tell me much about the story I remember, so to those who have read it, is it the same book?

If not, who's the author of the book I remember? 

I panicked during the phone interview when they asked me my salary expectations and said the base 15/hrs was good. 

My parents work in the field and said it's really low for the job and ideally I should've asked for 20.

My mom said I could tell them I got another job offer with a higher salary. I think I'll do this, but is there any other way to bring it up? 

Also I live 2 hrs away and they want me to drive there a only few times just to visit. (It's a remote position) Should I ask them to cover the travel fees? Would it be too much? 

I'm 19 and this would be my first time working for someone other than my family company or as a freelance designer so I don't have much experience with interviews.

I don't mind if I don't do it professionally, I'm just really interested in the sport.

I did gymnastics when I was a kid but haven't done anything since.

I m presenting a movie for school and the teacher said no bad words but idk if moron counts as one.

It's like I don't feel entitled to anything and honestly it's a horrible thing. My 'friends' (cause idk if they consider me a friend even if they say they do) have to say "yes we included you too" all the time otherwise I couldn't know and I doubt everything I do because what if I'm wrong? Idk people say "don't take anything for granted" well I'm thankful every day for everything I have and it's not very fun.

Is there like a reason behind it all? A religion? A diet? A drug?

Last night I was on my phone reading a comic with my bedroom’s window blinds wide open and suddenly I saw a really weird light blue looking thing float around outside. It wasn’t like on the sky like a UFO, it almost looked like a mini drone and it was at eye level. The light wasn’t a dot nor was it an aura, it was more like a weird bent ring shape (I thought it was a little drone at first and that people were spying on me lmao) and I was wearing glasses but I could see the light slowly make its way down even after I turned my head (it couldn’t have been a reflection) so naturally I got up and looked for it from my window and I did notice an odd light but it wasn’t as concentrated as before, it was like it had vanished.

After that I shut the blinds, placed my phone down for the night and panicked for a little bit (until my fat cat who was at my feet the whole time started snoring like a man and it was all okay.)

Oh also as I tried to fall asleep I felt like I was getting slapped on my nose twice with a straw or something? It freaked me out so I hid under the covers the whole night and died of warmth.

I want to go to a college that is two hours from home. I would get there with public transport. But I think that it's still too far away. I don't want to have to move away either.

Is it too far?

If it is, there is always a college 20 minutes away from home but I really liked the other one's program better.

So then Calvin came to mind, which sounds better in English but I still prefer Kalin in English.

For a small object in a 2 meter free fall.

I’m 17, female and 5 feet 5.748 inches exactly. All I want is to at least be 5’6 (5’7 or 8 would be ideal.)

My 14 year old brother told me he smoked weed with his friend one time. I don’t know how many times he’s done it, but I don’t want it to become a regular thing. He’s easily influenced and has a decent amount of friends who smoke weed, one of them even went to rehab so.... I’m just worried about him. He’s smart, but he tends to do the opposite of what I tell him.

Should I tell our parents? (I’m 17 btw) I feel like if I did, they’d over react and from what I know he’s only done it once. He told me in complete confidence and I want him to trust me in the future.
