Is it bad to not be ambitious?

I don't mean in a no- drive to do anything sort of way. More like just wanting a simple life, normal job, ( teacher, police officer, etc), and having no yearning to climb the ladder so to speak as far as prestige or income goes.

If everyone was "ambitious" then none of the practical everyday jobs would have workers. I think that it's wonderful to be content where you are as long as you are able to pay your bills and take care of yourself. I get really angry at those in higher up positions who snub the ones working in cafeterias, grocery stores, retail, laborers...especially when these people are the ones serving and fixing all the higher ups stuff!

Not really as long as you are happy.

No it is not bad. As long as one is satisfying their own needs, and if they are making a contribution to society, then that is fine to find a comfortable spot.

Butterfly effect. All Choices affect a different future. Only you can decide what you want. But then again, it is worth living a life of tales to tell, rather than a 'Simple & normal' Life.

I think everyone has to "settle" eventually, or else they will never be happy.
