For those who are going to Church today, is more people wearing jeans or they getting dressed up more?

I used to wear khakis most weeks but now I usually wear nice jeans with a polo shirt and brown oxford shoes as more in my Church and others that I have visited dress are more like this.

This depends on the service I go to.

On Sunday mornings, there are two different services, a contemporary with the church band and a traditional service with the church choir.

In the contemporary service, I see a bit more casual wear. Nice dark wash jeans, no rips or holes, nice shirts, nice shoes. I don't see many women/girls in skirts. I also see more young people and more families.

In the traditional service, I see more older people, and a step up in the clothing worn. Most women wear dresses. All men wear slacks or suits, very nice button up shirts, dress shoes.

Dress pants is a better choice.

I see people in jeans however I think it's very disrespectful. You're going to God's house. Dress appropriately. If you were going to he house of someone important you would dress up a bit. No one is more important than God. The better to go in jeans rather than not at all is a cop out. God does care how we look. He expects to be worshiped and honored.

God doesn't care what you wear.
