Water Heater Terms?

Which is the proper term for standard gas water heaters?

"Natural Draft" or "Top Vent" or are they interchangeable?

And is "Direct Vent" also considered a sub category of "Top Vent"?

Update:

Let me clarify. The question are Top Vent and natural draft used synonymously? Or is Top vent a larger category that includes natural draft and direct vent? I've seen some call the ones that require B-Vent called natural draft and some called top vent. I was wondering if the later was an improper use to specify a specific flue type.

Top vent is the most natural term. Electric water heaters have no vent.

Most water heaters are top vent. A natural gas water heater is a vent that requires a chimney to vent the flue gases by natural atmospheric draft to the roof, they are also cheaper. A direct vent water heater will have an inducer motor to vent the flue, no chimney needed, it can vent right out the side of the house , these are more efficient but more expensive in cost.
