if you're open to either jeans or leggings, wear leggings. Their appearance is hardly any different than the men's super spray on skinny jeans that are popular at stores like Topman. But they're far more comfortable than skinny jeans. Girls love them for good reason. With leggings, wear a long enough top so you're not exposing too much. Also, you may need to find a solution for leggings not having pockets.
