Metastasized cancer?

If someone has cancer say on their gum and it's entirely consumed his jaw- is there a good chance that ity could spread to his tongue due to proximity?

    Yes. Cancer can spread to anywhere else in the body, but it does tend to spread to adjacent tissues first. It could also result in full body osteosarcoma (bone cancer), and brain cancer since it's in his head.
