Who manufactures Nissan automobiles in America?
Was watching one of those Truck TV shows. They took a Nissan Pickup Truck and removed the front end (grill and such) and put a Ford Ranger grill and such on it and didn't have to modify anything. It was a one to one swap. They turned it into a Ford Ranger.
So, do Nissan's come off the Ford assembly line in America?

Late model Nissan trucks for the American market are assembled in Mexico, Thailand and Mississippi without any Ford partnership. Most Nissan automobiles are assembled in Smyrna, Tennessee without any Ford partnership. You likely mistook the Nissan truck for a Mazda truck. Mazda and Ford have a partnership in producing the Ford Ranger and Mazda BT-50 trucks.

For North America, production is handled by two facilities that are co-owned by Ford, with one located in Flat Rock Michigan, and the other in Claycomo, Missouri. Production in the Claycomo facility consists solely of the Mazda Tribute, while the Auto Alliance International handles production of the Mazda 6 for the North American market

Ford USED to partner with Mazda, and early Ford Ranger pickups were actually Mazda "B" series trucks with Ford logos and grilles. The association with Mazda ran from 1983–2011. Ford Ranger pickups have NEVER been associated with Nissan.
