Why do people jump the gun when a black person gets shot and say the police are racists who prey on black people?
I find it strange and confusing that people immediately are screaming "HE DIDN'T DO NOTHING!!!" as soon as a black person is shot without knowing what the h*ll the situation was completely.
Especially since in this day and age it's very rare that there isn't someone with a smartphone recording what's happening or any other type of camera nearby. The logical thing would be to WAIT until all the evidence has been compiled before screeching about your beliefs because unless you were there, there's a high chance you are wrong about some detail.
Meaning that you make yourself look stupid and end up as the butt end of a joke and less and less people take you seriously.
Just...why?! That makes no sense!
The reason I started this question is because of that man who was recently shot in New York for running around pointing a "shower head" at people. When I say people should get their facts straight, I mean that in security camera footage it LOOKS like a gun but the kicker is that besides those people saying it was a shower head there are other news outlets saying it was a metal pipe.
Meaning they're screeching when they don't know all the details yet. THAT'S what I'm talking about.
People are so quick to politicize tragedies that they end up making themselves look stupid when they inevitably get some, if not a large chunk, of details wrong. (Mass shooting happens, news media says it's a muslim) THIS IS WHY WE NEED MORE BORDER CONTROL! (turns out media was wrong and the "muslim" was a white guy) ...*cough* Still we need border control!
(Black man gets shot by police) BLACK LIVES MATTER YOU PIGS! (learns that black man was waving a gun) ...HE DIDN'T DO NUFFIN WRONG!
