Can lemon juice delay your period?
If I sucked on a lemon every day for three days before I am supposed to start my period and the day of, would it delay my period or make it come sooner? I've read mixed responses on the internet.. I want people's honest opinions please! I don't care if it makes my cramping worse, I already have horrible cramps!

No .. lemon juice or sucking on a lemon won't delay the onset of your period; it won't make your period come sooner; and it won't have any effect on cramping either. I used to suck on lemons almost every day when I was your age (because I like lemons), but they never affected me one way or the other.

Sucking on lemons won’t have ant effect on your period. Your hormones keep a regular schedule. Sorry

No, obviously not.
Think about it for yourself: how could sucking on a lemon delay your period?
It's not a matter of opinion, it's scientific fact. When you menstruate is determined by you menstrual cycle, a domino effect of hormonal changes that cause ovulation and [if you don't get pregnant] around two weeks later cause menstruation - the only way to delay your cycle would be medication like Norethisterone which stops the hormonal drop that triggers menstruation, lemons aren't hormonal medication and they cannot change your hormones to prevent menstruation from occurring.
FYI : Menstrual cramps are common but not normal, most people can prevent menstrual cramps with things as simple as herbal supplements and dietary changes, but severe menstrual cramps can be a sign of something more serious.
