You feel you can't move and are in total paralysis. In reality there may be bits of you that can move.

The brain is a complex instrument. We have ideas how parts of it work, and on a daily basis, we learn a little more about the most complex machine in the world.
There is no reason why she can't be able to do this, just a different wiring
