Do you think that those women who accused Crosby many years after the crime actually aided and abetted Crosby in cases subsequent to theirs?

and if so shouldn't they be charged, convicted . and punished for aiding and abetting in the subsequent molestations?

When they failed to report the crime in a timely manner, they became complicit in the crime. By NOT reporting it, they emboldened the perpetrator, by tacitly accepting the act and encouraging him to repeat. If they are not charged, they must share the guilt!!!

No. I read a lot of the accounts, and most of them were embarrassed and confused, since Cosby's thing was drugging them before his assault. And I think most of them thought they were isolated cases. No one wanted to speak up and accuse Cosby for these reasons. Hopefully the metoo movement has made men like him a little afraid now.

Rape is difficult to prove. People have all sorts of difficulties with bringing lawsuits. They didn’t believe the plaintiffs at the time and even now, some don’t believe the verdict. This is what rape victims are up against. So I see no point in passing judgement on the victims, no. Blame Cosby, he’s the perpetrator.

    Crosby? Bing or Norm?

Yes. I don't know how... but there is definitely some truth (& blame) in that situation.

Crosby? He's not Bing, nor has he ever been accompanied by Stills and Nash. He's Bill Cosby. No R.

As for your question, no. That's because that's not what aiding and abetting is. Aiding and abetting requires constructive action, meaning it comes about only from action, not inaction. Furthermore, the law does not require victims to report crimes because doing so would be unconstitutional.

By the way, there were reports, lots of them, but they fell on deaf ears. Even the rape he was recently convicted of, she didn't wait years to report it. She reported it to the police when it happened in 2004. She followed up on it numerous times but there was no movement on the case until about three years ago. When reports have historically been met with such doubt and skepticism that they do no good but only expose the one reporting to people like you who only want to further victimize the victim, it's no wonder there is a reluctance to report. You -- you're the reason. Since your impunity is actually constructive action, maybe it's you who should be charged, but as a conspirator rather than just aiding and abetting.

Your logic is ... Person A rapes Person B. Person B does not pursue any legal remedy. Persona A goes on to rape Person C, Person D, and Person E. And you think Person B is criminally liable, that some how that is abetting a crime.. Perhaps you should think again.
