I'm very joyful, happy, adjusted, financially sound, and have an incredible IQ: oh, and I'm religious - sorry that your statement disguised as a rhetorical question is now false.

Friend apparently you have never been to China Korea Russia or Cuba take a trip there and then come back and tell me how happy the people are!

Well if you are an atheist, from my little time on here, people seem to hate you !!!! And if you are religious then you are lying against your own experience.

Primarily atheists don't have a judgemental vengeful invisible deity watching every movement and listening to every thought and word and judging them. Its very freeing to not have to look over your shoulder 24/7.

I do sometimes wonder what it would be like, having somebody watching me all of the time, judging my every action. Every little misdeed being recorded, wondering if they will add up to weigh more than the feather of truth when the time comes. Wondering about the boredom of an eternal life, possibly seperated from those I love in this life. Wondering if I will end up in eternal torment for billions of years. Wondering if I was following the right god, what if the true god is Allah or Quetzalcoatl?
Maybe some theists think they will earn points for judging others, even though their books may tell them otherwise. Perhaps they see so many unbelievers trotting around happily that it puts a modicum of doubt in ther minds. Perhaps they strengthen their belief by trying to impose their god's will on others.
Some of them believe that their god is going to destroy the entire planet, even though they may be saved or raptured, it will be an apocalypse. Imagine a knock on the door right now, Jesus is there "Right, off we go!" What about my family? No they are going to the other place. What about your pets? No souls, they don't go anywhere.
So much to worry about, too much for me.

I can't say I agree, I'm kinda dimwitted tbh.
I mostly get by on my superior wit, not intellect
