Just deposit it into your checking of savings account. Since it is over $10,000, it will be reviewed by the bank itself

    Deposit in your bank account.

If you do not have a checking/savings account, then use the check to open one!

You don't have to cash it at a citi bank. Cash it at your bank. If you don't have that amount of your own funds, then they are not going to give you the money until the check has cleared.

If you have a checking or savings account with a bank, then YOUR bank will cash that check without a fee.

Some banks do have a policy in which you need to deposit the check into your account for a certain number of days to be sure it is a good check and then you can withdraw the money after it has cleared.

Cashing a check will always incur a fee. You can try Amscot, however some places have a limit on the size of the check they will cash. Why not deposit it in your checking account and there will be no fee.

Your own bank should cash it if you have an account.

No one (not even Citi) will cash a check of that size. You deposit it, and wait for it to clear.

Either use your bank where you have a checking account, open a checking account at a local bank or get in the car and drive to a Citibank location.
