Since Josephus & other historians of his day back up the veracity of the Bible, isn't it nearly impossible to dismiss the Gospels as truth?

Nonbelievers dismiss the gospel writings, and they will suffer eternally. I hate that for them.

No. The two references to Jesus in Josephus writtings have been proven to be a forgery. And there are no other reliable historians that mention Jesus. All are either con-artists or forgeries.

The gospels were written for the sole purpose of convincing the Jews to support the Roman Empire. Jesus is a literary creation that represented the leader of Rome in 66 CE, Titus Flavious. The pagan Romans invented Christianity to try to convince Jews to support the Roman Empire. They knew about the messianic prophesies and created Jesus to appear to fulfill such prophesies.

The reference to Jesus in the work of Josephus called the Testimonium Flavianum has been shown to be a forgery. There is nothing outside the works of the New Testament that refer to Jesus. There is a growing body of research by biblical scholars and ancient historians that show that Jesus did not exist just as Moses did not exist.

No. Josephus was born in 37 CE and his Antiquities was written sometime around 93 CE. It has two references to Jesus. He was born after Jesus would have died, so in the most charitable interpretation, he is only passing along second-hand information. Josephus simply is reporting that Christians exist half a century after Jesus would have existed, but it is by no means a first hand witness account of Jesus or anything he purportedly did.

It validates Christianity to the same degree me telling you people like Tom Cruise and Laura Prepon are Scientologists validates Scientology.

Josephus doesn't mention any jewish rabbi doing healings and miracles in Palestine.

They don't. Josephus was not even born at the time of the supposed execution ( born 37CE). He verifies the existence of Christians but does nothing to verify the Bible stories. There is not a single contemporary account of Jesus in any historical record,

Nothing in the bible is backed up by Josephus, so I guess that's the gospels dismissed.

There is nothing that backs up the bible. It's all scientifically impossible nonsense

No. And the fact that you think they back up the veracity of the Bible just shows either your ignorance of the subject or the extent to which someone has lied to you.
