Do I have 3 years no claims bonus?
I vestarted driving in July 2015, I had 2 years no claims and in July 2017 I renewed my policy for another year. However 2 months later in September I cancelled it as I bought a new car and went with a different insurer, but I had my car modified in January 2018 and was forced to get another insurer as my original wouldn t insure me.
My question is will I have 3 years no claims seen as it s been 3 years where I ve been insured and not made a claim? Or will I have to wait until I ve been with my current insurer for a year before I get that 3rd year no claim ( January 2019 ).
Any help is appreciated.

Nope. You have 2 years NCB

No Claim discount is awarded on full years only with individual insurers.
So at the end of this year you will still have just two years NCB
Jan 2019 is when the third year will click in, provided of course you don't make a claim.
