Can I smoke marijuana before or after I take keppra?

Go to Drugs.com , look for the interaction checker, and enter Keppra and cannabis. It will tell you if there is any interaction between the two.

There's nothing in the side effects or interactions warnings about marijuana. I would say it was okay but I don't know what I'm talking about. If you're really worried, ask your doctor.

Some people apparently go 'crazy' on keppra. Hallucinations, psychiatric symptoms, thoughts of suicide, sleep-walking, difficulties in motor skills, etc. The thing is, marijuana can do those things too, if you use enough. And the combination of the two could be worse! If you had these problems you'd want to stop right away. But if you don't, then it's not a problem.
