A snake elf has no nationality. Also they lack any means of injecting venom into humans as their teeth are too small to pierce human skin. In fact they avoid humans at all costs as encounters with humans usually end badly for them, usually ending up with their decapitation with a garden hoe, or picked up by the tail and being brained against the nearest rock or tree.
They live in the heart of dense forests where they speak in hisses and dance to the tune of "Sneaky Snake".
