When having two sons and a daughter?

We had two boys first, then a pair of twin girls. That was easiest for me, being a guy, as I THINK boys are easier to raise. Wife says girls are easier, and, as she is also a girl, can't argue the point. My main concern was that the boys would always be around to look after their younger sisters, but when the girls started school, the fact that they were twins put then immediately into the 'COOL' section, and we never had any problems. I still believe that the boys should come first, but that's strictly an opinion.

You get whatever happens. You don't get a choice in the matter.

Not that I had a choice in it but I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. She is my middle child. My oldest son was her hero, he was there to stand up for her when she couldn't do it alone. When she was 5 I had her 2nd brother. She loved having a baby brother and helped as much as she could.

I also feel that since the boys were several years apart there wasn't as much competition between them so less fighting and friction. I don't think I could have been any luckier to have them in that order.

I don't think it matters or something you would want to control.
