God knows what we need best. he just wants us to ask him for what we want. that does not mean we always get what we pray for. sometimes the answer to prayers is no because we lust after it and want things we do not need to live on. God loves us all the same. sometimes a reasonable blessing is withheld till we mature some in the faith. Thanks for the question friend God bless.

Well, He said ask and you shall receive. He also said to pray without ceasing (continue to pray). He also said to pray to the Father in Jesus' name, which I believe means to pray in His will. So, yes, I believe it does.

You need to be in the will of God.

We found out the will of God about a hurricane headed directly where we and thousands of others were.

Got go ahead to pray it didn't destroy. But did NOT get go ahead to avert it.

There are videos on YouTube explaining how to do these things.

Continuous prayer can be just obedient prayer, as Jesus told us to keep asking. God grants prayer, the expectation of when he does it is where a lot of people go wrong. God doesn't have to grant any prayer on earth, he can wait until we are all together with him, as it says in Hebrews 11. Thanks to him that he does grant some prayers in this life.

According to John 14;13, God will grant prayers asked in the name of Jesus. Let's try it, shall we?

    Father Yahweh,

I ask that you would give me observable, recordable evidence of your existence. My phone is a high density video camera, and I am holding it now, so I could record it and upload it to YouTube.

    In Jesus' name,

    Amen.

Edit: I will keep you all posted.

Prayer has never influenced anything, except the mind of uneducated idiots...
