Will using laxitives effect my body holding onto the protein heavy foods i eat...or will all the nutrition be wasted?

    Of course it will affect it. You wont' fully digest any of what you eat if you are taking laxatives.

    If you *NEED* laxatives, use them occasionally and according to the instructions, and if you need them often, get a doctor's advice. Your nutrition will be fine.

    But if you are using them for weight control, STOP. There can be worse side effects:
