What is your favourite film in the Alien saga?
Either your all-time favourite or your favourites in order.
Mine would be Aliens. The second half of that movie is one of the most intense movie experiences I have ever had, the film is only let down by the loader vs Queen fight at the end which was kinda stupid.

I think the first one is best for sheer silent, gut-wrenching tension, closely followed by the second.
However, one of the weirdest moments is when Ripley torches the nest. Why do that? If she'd backed out quietly then the queen would have continued happily laying eggs for another five minutes before she became a cloud of vapour the size of Nebraska.
This would have made later films unnecessary, although I personally believe that no. 3 is better than it's given credit for.
You don't mention "Resurrection". I try not to.

As I've seen NONE of them............I would say the first one was probably the best and the rest, cheap rip offs of the first.
