Is a staged house important to you when purchasing a house?

Not important to me at all. Some realtors seem to think it is so if you choose one of those realtors, they will want to stage the house, if you move out before people stream through it to buy. The house I currently live in was completely empty when we bought it. The people had already moved out. I don't need other people's furniture in the house to decide how and if mine will fit. I measured - and I look a room and I know exactly where everything will go. Some people don't have that ability, and some people - never clue in to the fact that a house is all wrong for them, until it is too late. Then it goes on the market again in a month.

I have purchased both newly built and occupied. No, as long as it is clean and ready to show it makes no difference. I like to picture my own decor, my own colors, my own furniture and looked beyond any other decorations or staging.
