There is a need to be timely in all criminal charges. Timeliness is required so that physical evidence can be collected. The absence or presence of physical evidence is what makes or breaks a criminal prosecution case.
A video or collaborating testimony is often not enough. Pubic hairs and other physical evidence is.
I would react in a timely manner to insure any physical evidence needed for the trial could be preserved!

If she says nothing about it and the evidence (DNA) is lost then it is just a he-said / she-said - better to keep a 100 criminals out of prison then to convict one innocent person - that is the democrats stance anyway as long as the person is not a conservative.

what is SOL? i'd ask more quesitons and get to the root of it. and ask her why she didnt tell me when it happened. so we could go to the hosplital and get a rape kit done her.
with out that there isn't anything on record. and it's a he said she said battle do you really want to get stuck in that mess? and teach her not to put her self in those types of sistuations. i mean going to a hotel room at 3am in the morning isn't anything other than a bootty call i don't care what field of work you do!
i mean you need this book you come get it.

if you failed to take her to the cops and filed a report. Then yes.
