Many - Laws of motion (dynamics), Gravitation theory, resolving (visible) Light into a spectrum for the first time, invention of 'Calculus' (concurrently with Friedrich Leibnitz) as a much-used branch of Mathematics, Newtonian telescope, each of these has spawned a huge body of knowledge (Science) that bears his name and some more like Newton's Law of cooling, 'Newton-Raphson' method, method of Finite differences. Sir Isaac Newton is famous for all of these .

His contributions to science, notably ideas on gravity, and motion. He was actually a Theologian who dabbled in science, but, ended up being really good at it.
