What do MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) actually hope to achieve?

Who knows. What I do know is they aren’t -* going* - anywhere and they aren’t going anywhere in their - * own* -way if they have to be in a club to do it.

MGTOWs's lives supposedly don't revolve around the "average young woman", and yet they still manage to make time to criticise them. Repeatedly. The best way to demonstrate how you live your life on your own terms, independent from women is not to make a club about it, then waffle on about women and keep denying how your life is determined by them.

There are always cults in any society. But most men want women, most women want men, and a little club that few understand isn't going to change that.

They're not fighting for social change or any other kind of change for that matter. All MGTOW is looking to do is educate fellow men and live happily.

Also, studies show that women on average want relationships more than men. With that in mind it should go without saying that men control if relationships happen and what terms they will happen on. Feminists wanted to play the game like they could control both the sex market and the relationship market, but what MGTOW is doing perhaps without intention is showing that men actually control relationships and the terms of them, not women or feminists.

If you understand the prior paragraph then you should understand that MGTOW actually has a great deal of potential to make women change their behaviors in relationships if women do in fact want to be in them.

They are hoping to achieve THEIR OWN happiness.

They don't care whether or not women need them or what women do. Their point is simply that their life is their life and it doesn't belong to the women around them. They have no obligations to women.

Doesn't mean they aren't heterosexual, doesn't mean they'll never have sex again.

It *DOES* mean that they'll only have sex with women on the MGTOW's terms and if that isn't possible, he'll simply have sex with the aid of porn and toys. Women aren't necessary for their daily life.

This is not an opinion popular feminists who believe that they give up power if men don't depend on them for sex, for long term relationships, etc.

I'm thinking that they're looking for a "reset" to the existing social contract between men and women in the first world which keeps demonizing and disrespecting men as an entire group through the legal system as well as socially through PC culture and media. In this sense, MGTOW is a group of men that feel that they are getting the shaft according the ever-changing social contract that we have in the first world.

It kind of goes like this. The civilized world existed on the backs of men for all of recorded history. Women were the partners of men throughout this time. Only recently with the advent of technology have women been able to participate on an equal footing to men in several areas. But this is completely incumbent on men continuing their historical drudgery exactly as they have always done.

Men opting out of the system will collapse civilization.

Yet increasingly, it is women who are gaining Rights, while holding on to their existing privileges. When these men begin to feel that they are getting a raw deal, the MGTOW approach is the scorched-earth policy. And that is to opt-out of the entire system in order to kill the parasite, much like a program of antibiotics works to cleanse the human body.

We have to face it, this is completely Western societies fault, with all of its gynocentricity. The MGOTW approach is the result of Western society squashing men's complaints and not allowing men a proper venue for their issues at all. And those who do not allow men a meaningful outlet for their issues will end up with men that give a perverse outcome instead.
