What equipment do I need to record a podcast?

I want to do a series of audio recordings. I know that I will need a microphone, but I'm not sure what other equipment I'll need to get good sound quality.

Very easy - get a cheap (but good) USB mic. Connect it to your computer and select the mic as your input device in your audio software (Audacity is good).
