Why can't atheists stop talking about Richard Dawkins? Is he their new official pope now that Stephanie Hawkings physicist is dead & in hell?

I don't think any of the atheists I know have mentioned Dawkins in at least a few months if not longer.

Online vocal atheists tend to go on about Richard Dawkins a lot but the guy is basically a major self-publicist who happens to be proselytisingly anti-theist. The ideas are more important than the mouthpiece and most atheists would recognise that fact.

Richard Dawkins is their God.

With all of this practice trolling, one would think you'd be better.

You need to get your news from a different source. Stephanie Hawkkings is not a thing.

Seems to me that the ones bringing him up are believers, they feel that he is some leader or something. However saying there is no God requires no one else.

Might surprise you but I don't see anything about him worth listening to.

Richard Dawkins is a perfect example of freethinker. His works can provide a positive influence on humankinds.

It's always religious people who mention Dawkins first, not atheists. Quite odd.

When atheists see Christians jumping up and down on the roofs of McDonald's, it prompts them to talk about Dawkins. They never talked about any other people in that context.
