Why do men get so frustrated at admitting when a female is right?

Women pull this on me all the time so I'll respond that we're not all like that. If a woman points something out my mistake, no problem. However, if I point out a fact or read a subtle action and call out on it, I've experienced plenty of women that would sooner die or, worse, resort to an emotional attack and say it's my fault rather than accept blame. Ultimately, it all boils down to an overdeveloped ego and an underdeveloped sense of maturity.

Your statement on feelings is a different animal altogether. While I respect feelings, they can be wrong. Have you ever felt a sense of dread only to learn it was absolutely nothing when you investigated? They can no doubt protect you but make sure reality lines up as well or else friendly fire and false convictions can result.

I'll relate to you a personal experience that will largely answer that question. Several weeks ago I went to a singles group meeting, the singles group is sponsored by a religious organization (for those of you that know me I realize this in itself is a hard swallow). We broke up into discussion circles and part of discussion was feminism. One of the few guys in this circle popped off and said basically that "if a girl was really intent on getting a guy, getting married then her best course was literally to play it stupid, to fake ignorance, no matter how smart and well read she was, she was literally better off playing it stupid." The fact that he lived to tell about gives an indication as to how conservative this group is, if it were where I went to college, he would have literally been torn to pieces by the women in the group. Even at that he ended up in a major confrontation with several of the girls in the group. Come to find out he literally did it as a "Troll", to see what kind of a reaction he'd get, because he himself didn't believe it for a second. So the question becomes are guys really that intimidated by a woman that literally knows more than they do?
