When and why did Jesus become better than the angels?

When God his Father resurrected him from the dead into a powerful spirit person, giving him immortality for his faithful obedience. God then set him down at his right hand giving him a throne until God made him King of his Kingdom.

You must be joking. Jesus is God the Son. He's always outranked angels.

Angels have to obey, like disciples, and are never better than their teacher.

Jesus had free will and was his own master.

He's not better than the angels, Jesus got the best position due to nepotism.
