My 1 and a half year old is so congested, help?

It’s 1 in the morning and I plan on buying baby Vicks and getting a humidifier in the morning, but right now all I have is adults Vick’s Severe Nasal Decongestant. Of course I wouldn’t put this up her nose, as it’s for adults. But would rubbing some on the bottom of her feet do any harm? I feel so bad for my baby because she can’t breathe through her nose trying to sleep and I don’t even have the nose sucker because it’s at her father’s house :( -thank you

hi, i am sorry i didnt get to see this earlier, for on going reference, get baby vicks vapour rub and yes apply to chest back and feet, also the ball of the foot is a reflexology point of the chest and lung area so kneading this gently of course helps with releasing congestion, as much as possible personally i would reduce dairy produce during congestion phase. also saline for nasal insertion seeking professional advice from either gp or pharmacist...also using facial pressure points gently if you practise on yourself starting with to show you an obvious point placing your finger tips with pressure at the point of your eyebrows where they are nearest your nose...just under where they start and apply pressure, it should feel sensitive by applying pressure for a minute or so this helps clear the sinuses too xx

No, you cannot put a nasal spray on the soles of your baby's feet.

I would just rub a little bit on the bottom of her feet...but in the morning get baby vicks and rub on bottom of her feet for a couple of days and then put socks on her that should help..good luck
