I keep seeing outrage from cons that Baby it's cold outside is being banned?

I tend to ignore this crap. I don't love the song but I don't hate it either and I know it came form someone imagination and isn't really true. There are hundreds of other songs I'd rather see get banned. Mostly it doesn't bother me because I rarely listen to the radio.

I think it’s RIDICULOUS that anyone has banned playing this song. There were no sexual abuse secret messages in those old songs. Some people have lost their damn minds. Just as an example? Nobody’s banning this and it was explicitly suggestive. Just smh.

Cons (and Christians) today are constantly looking for a fight. They get 'outraged' way too easily. These are the same people who are ready to go to war because Starbucks didn't put "CHRISTMAS!!!" on their paper cups in 3" letters.

Baby, it's Cold Outside is from a movie called Neptune's Daughter, starring Esther Williams. It's sung twice in the movie with gender roles reversed! The two parts are designated 'Wolf' and 'Mouse'. Usually we think of the wolf being the guy but in the movie it's done both ways, with two different couples! The 'mouse' is pointing out that it's really cold but he/she has to go home, the 'wolf' is saying (essentially) no, stay and we'll have sex. How Christmassy is that? 8^)

Christians are upset that a 'Christmas song' is being banned. But it's not a Christmas song, just a winter song. And we have plenty of good songs, written for a more general audience.

It was banned in Boston, Ma. by a radio station. That was for some the outrage. It being banned by this radio

station because of the lyrics and not once did they ban any rap music that promoted rape or physical abuse of

women.

The song doesn't offend me because of it's content. It only offends me by not being a good song.
