Do males really need to wash hands after urinating? (Please read before judging)?
Please consider the following:
1. It is virtually impossible for a male to get urine on his hands while peeing, unless he has gravity-defying urine, is physically or mentally challenged, or is outdoors.
2. A Day in the Life of a Penis: Personally speaking, five minutes after my morning shower, my penis is covered with fresh pairs of underwear and pants. It remains sequestered there with no exposure to surfaces that may contain bacteria.
3. A Day in the Life of Hands: Personally speaking, one hour after my shower I’m likely to have touched the front door to my apartment building, my car parked outside, the front door to my office building, the secondary door to my office building, the coffee machine, the water cooler, and the door to the men’s washroom, not to mention co-workers who wish to shake hands or fist bump as we pass in the hallway.
I’m no bacteriologist, but given the above, isn’t it my penis getting sullied by physical contact with my hands, rather than vice versa?

I've been saying this for years. We should be washing our hands before we urinate. My hands are dirty from the day. My dick has been tucked away that entire time. Unless of course I were to have the occasional incident while urinating, then of course you wash up after.

I always wash my hands after going to the bathroom, it's nasty and gross if you don't

Hey retard... Given the premise that you have lay down... Would you want someone else that has done the exact same thing as you, to prepare your food for you with their hands, unwashed? I didn't think so dumb ***!

Only if you pee on them or your cock is dirty.

Like Brockdeez said, my Dick is cleaner than most things I touch with my hands throughout the day. i frequently wash before pissing. Unless I'm gonna be handling other people's food, I often don't wash my hands afterward. I'm cut, so I piss a straight stream, and there's no smegma on me.

I find it easier to keep urine off my hands when peeing outdoors than in a toilet, because really no holding for aiming is needed outdoors. But to answer your question, the answer tends to be no, it's not terribly necessary in some cases. First of all, if he has recently showered then his penis is clean. Freshly washed genitals are every bit as sanitary as freshly washed hands. Second, even if it's been a while since his last shower, the guy's penis has the same sweat and skin oils on it as any other part of his body. It's not especially dirty just because it's a penis. If he wouldn't have a need to wash after scratching his nose or rubbing the back of his neck, he wouldn't have a need to wash after holding his penis.
Third, even if he did get some urine on his hands, urine is sterile. As long as he doesn't have a UTI, it's bacteria-free. However, it does contain urea, which is one of the ingredients of sweat, and is a generally unpleasant excretion. While he's not going to hurt anything by not washing if that happens, it's a matter of good personal hygiene if he does.
Last, if he's using a public bathroom he's going to have to touch the flush handle, provided he's a civilized adult and actually flushes after he's done. There could be all sorts of urine splatters and who knows what else on that flush handle. As a matter of good sanitation and hygiene, he should most definitely wash after using a public bathroom.
And of course, if the guy is taking a whiz while in the shower or swimming in a lake, there's really no need to wash at all because of the abundance of water rinsing his hands (and soap in the shower).
