How many Jehovah's Witnesses came to Bible Truths before meeting any Witnesses?

There is one JW that claims to have "figured out" the truth about God and had questions about the Trinity doctrine" which are almost identical to Watchtower questions, 2 years before meeting any JWs.

He never says exactly how he did all this figuring, but I'm sure he is perfectly honest about it.

Yet the Watchtower says

"We all need help to understand the Bible, and we cannot find the Scriptural guidance we need outside the "faithful and discreet slave" organization,"

(Watchtower, Feb. 15, 1981, p. 19)

I agree that everybody needs help to understand the word of God. But the word of God says if anyone lacks wisdom ask god and it shall be given to him liberally! now before you run off and start opening up your mouth and asking for wisdom you better understand what that entails! I asked God for wisdom and before I knew it I was atheist a drug addict a Satanist and flat on my face in the gutter! But I recovered from this through the grace of God and now I have the wisdom to never screw around with wickedness again! Wisdom might just involve you getting a lot of Hard knocks so be careful before you ask because you just might receive

Yes. Long before I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses, i figured out that the trinity was false.

How? Jesus calls his God and Father the only true God. I compared it with every scripture that my Trinitarian pastor showed me Jesus was God. Jesus' statement conflicts with every one. How can Jesus be true God when he says that his Father, whom the Hebrews called YHWH, was the only true God? That was the question I gave myself. I learned that the word god was not exclusive. It could mean beings of greater power than humans.

Jesus himself says his God is the only true one. He has a God. He called this God "his God". He said it as a human and he said it as a spirit person after his ascension to heaven.

You say you figured out the trinity all on your own. I say you didn't. There is no possible way to come to the conclusion that Jesus is the second person of the trinity by yourself. You need somebody to show you how to cherry pick scriptures.

    The reality is that ..

.............................. most JWs believe they came to know the truth without being guided

.................................. all JWs attended JW indoctrination sessions they called "bible study"

...................................... nobody in JWland ever disagrees with JWorg or anything GB members say

Hmm... there's a phrase... if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then chances are it's a duck (or a JW)

The Mafioso style leaders of the JWs are afraid of people finding out Bible Truths. That is why you need their supplemental literature to even read their corrupted translation.

Many people came to a knowledge of some Bible truth before becoming Witnesses. That is why most of them left their churches.

But they did not "figure out" the whole truth on their own. They were like the Ethiopian that is mentioned in the Bible. When asked by Phillip “Do you actually know what you are reading?” he asked. “Really,” responded the Ethiopian, “how could I ever do so, unless someone guided me?”

    Bible truth is an oxymoron.
