If you are a formal worshipper, how do you make sure you are giving your heart, your energy, and emotions, to the right Being?

You don't know. Have you noticed that no matter where in the world you live, the religion you practice is the one true religion? It's all a matter of indoctrination and society.

If the founding fathers of the USA would have been Muslims, most Americans would be Muslim today.

You bring up a good point. 90+% of attention should be devoted on first to make sure you are in right denomination/religion, etc. Some people don't ever question if they are even in the right place (which falls right into Satan's trap). Because if you are devoting all energy to false belief system you just made the devil powerful. Spend months or years, find out what is the truth, then devote all energy towards it second. Too many people just say they were born into a religion of their parents so they think it's right. That's not the case at all in most cases these days. John Henry Newman was an example. Interestingly in the 19th century he set out to prove "by historical investigation" the Catholic Church was false. He ended up becoming Catholic at the end of it. He was overwhelmed by the evidence of veracity and truth of the church.

The Bible is the Word of God. That's how I know that I have the absolute truth

Every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death.
