How do I get over this guy?

So I met this guy back in March/April on the ship where I work at and he approached me and said that he found me attractive and stuff. Then a few days later he added me on Facebook, However, one of my friends around the ship was saying that he messes around with other women and hes not the relationship type, I didn't want to believe her because I was starting to like him, Then like a week or two later, he sent me a message saying that he sees himself being with me and being committed to me. So we were hanging out and we kissed a few times. But now hes saying that he doesn't want anything serious and that he told other girls this.

So now I’ve noticed that he’s been talking to some other girl according to his Twitter.

Then, I texted him the other day and he told me that he was taking leave on the 27th.and he told me that he was coming up to Virginia (which is where I’m stationed at) and he said “maybe I’ll see you”. My gut feeling was telling me that he was going to see that girl while he was on leave. Come to find out, I looked on his Snapchat and I saw that he was visiting the same girl that I saw him talking to on his Twitter. I was heated! Now I’m contemplating on if I want to see this jerk or not. I wish I never met him and caught feelings for him. What should I do?
