Can you please help me with a PC/Windows 10 error: 0xc000000e?

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone can help with some advice on the following issue.

My computer throws up the blue screen 'You PC/Device needs to be repaired' and states: A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed'.

This has been happening for quite some time. All I have to do is turn off my machine, turn it back on and it's all ok.

This is quite an annoying issue as it happens say 1 out of every 3 or 4 times I turn on my machine.

I know the error is basically telling me it can't access my SSD which has my OS on it, but why intermittently and why is it resolved everytime with a simple restart?

How can I make this problem go away? Anyone else experienced this?

Many thanks in advance + happy new year all :)

Update:

Any real people out there who can answer this question? Yahoo have obviously dropped the ball.

the error is coming from your BIOS/UEFI, not from Windows. The likely cause is that something hasn't finished booting up by the time the BIOS goes to interrogate it and, when you reset [reset is a cpu command, not a reset from zero power], it is already booted up and thus works fine.

please consult the computer maker's website under support for help with this. If you built it, see the motherboard maker's website. in either case, you'll need your exact model number

Have you tried plugging your SSD in to a different SATA port on the motherboard?
